jerusalem, my home

im flying tomorrow.

things Ill miss, to name a few,

the way nabil says shekel,
prayercall,
citylights by dark,
betlehem,
oren repeating tyttis name,
the men complementing in a nice way,
the dome of the rock,
the wall,
ruhama singing,
samirs stupid songs,
humus,
the old city,
getting lost,
ruut driving a car,
pauls jokes,
knowing where everything is in the kitchen,
the damascus gate,
sitting in munirs shop,
passing the checkpoint,
the men from our shop,
georges gentleness and humour,
david ross and her little sister,
the girls,
going on walks,
the bazaars,
losha doing pantomime,
arab music coming out of open windows,
david speaking with russian accent,
arabs and their coffee.

So Laura, your time there is finished. I'm sure you are not the same person anymore. When you go to different places and meet people from different nations, you can not stay the same.

Oh my goodness how I love the internet and the abilities of it to turn you into something you could search for in seconds. So, this is the way things go in this earth. Tytti added me, I got her surname from her email adress, I checked with google if she was "googable", she was. I found your surname on a website, the surname I forgot even though I remembered it for 5 seconds from the flying tickets in Tyttis bag. So I checked if you were "googable" too and was happy to find this weblog. Thanks God for my spying skills! :)
You don't know how much I miss you two. It all happened suddenly, without mercy. But this world can be small sometimes, I hope you get to see it.
Well, if you were talking about stuff you will miss, I can only say I will miss your finnish way of saying "David" and your calm smile, capable of quieting the biggest of the storms in the group. Even me when I was ready to kill someone. Thanks for all the laughs we had, that is something I will not forget. I will keep visiting here and tervetuloa to my weblog too: faceistmatters.blogspot.com.
Take care, and Jerusalem will always be your home if you wish to. After all, you are part of His VIP and this city is His "small cottage", He's got a bigger one up there prepared for you too.
Lehitraot Laura.
Ani mekave shenitrae bekarov,
David

I just hate spammers. Bah.

Well, thanks for being the first one to ever post a comment in my blog. You are invited to add me to your links, I guess I'll add you too. Is it OK?
About your writing: It is one of the most interesting types of writing I met. Noticed the same thing on Tytti's blog.
So, I hope you are fine and getting back to normal. I really miss you both, but I just know that I will see you, maybe next year.

Good night. I will write an e-mail soon, with all the updates.

Nos vemos Laura. :)

Hei Laura, miten paluu sujui?
Mulla oli se haastattelu tiistaina, se meni tosi hyvin. On aika mahdollista että mä saan sen harjoittelupaikan Tel Avivissa... keep praying! :)
Nähdään taas <3
